Telangana JAC Vows to Expose TDP, Cong

The Telangana political Joint Action Committee (JAC) today decided to undertake a campaign to expose the alleged insincere attitude of ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh and the double standards of main Opposition TDP over the separate Telangana demand.

The JAC would hold constituency-level meetings soon and start the campaign at the village-level to expose the Congress and TDP, JAC Convener M Kodandaram told PTI after a meeting of the panel.

"While ruling Congress has a deceiving attitude, TDP is showing its double standards by adopting an ambivalent stance on the Telangana demand," he said.

Criticising the TDP for not adopting a pro-Telangana resolution at its recent conclave, the JAC Convener appealed to the people to desist from cooperating with the party in organising a public meeting at Tandur in Ranga Reddy district.

The Telangana leaders in TDP have announced their decision to soon organise the meeting at Tandur in support of the separate statehood demand.

The JAC would hold its extended Steering Committee meeting on June six to chalk out its future course of action, Kodandaram added.

The JAC comprises TRS, BJP and a number of people's organisations.
