VIJAYAWADA: Municipal Commissioner G. Ravi Babu has stated that the Corporation will take necessary steps to ensure admissions in corporate colleges for the students who secured more than 500 marks in SSC examination.
Mr. Ravi Babu held a meeting with colleges managements and parents of the students at Council hall here on Monday.
On the occasion, he said that many students who studied in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation-run schools secured more than 500 marks and excelled on par with corporate schools.
The Corporation would help them in getting admission in corporate colleges, ITI, and polytechnic etc courses as well. The Lanco Foundation would give Rs. 5,000 cash award to the meritorious students, he said.
Representatives of Narayana, Sri Chaitanya, NRI, Sri Kakatiya, and Sri Vidya attended the meeting.
