Niira Radia
Under a cloud for her alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case, corporate lobbyist Niira Radia met CBI director A.P. Singh on Wednesday.
Radia had earlier sought time from the CBI chief. The meeting lasted for about half-an-hour.
Sources told Headlines Today that Radia submitted some documents related to the 2G case.
Radia has been in news after the leakage of her tapped conversations with high profile industrialists, political leaders, corporate heads and journalists.
She is also alleged to have influenced the formation of ministry when the UPA came to power for the second time in 2009.
The tapes had revealed that Radia had lobbied on behalf of a business house to get the telecom ministry for A Raja, who is now in jail in the 2G scam case.
